2026 Lobby Day Highlights
CSPS Members met in Sacramento for the annual CSPS Legislative Day, and visited with (16) legislators or aides to address issues of importance to the plastic surgeons in California. A main focus of the visits was the examination of Med Spas in California and to examine who is operating and overseeing these entities. CSPS wants to ensure appropriate protocols and ensure patient protections.

The Medical Board of California (Board) will stop mailing paper license renewal notices and forms to Physician and Surgeon (P&S) licensees starting with licenses that expire June 30, 2025. P&S licenses expiring June 30, 2025, or later will only be able to renew online using BreEZe Online Services. This process change will help streamline the Board's operations and reduce expenses.
The Board will continue sending license renewal information (including instructions and reminders) to the email address on file.
To verify or update an email address, visit www.breeze.ca.gov and login to your account. We have provided detailed instructions to help.
The law requires licensees to have a current email address on file with the Board.
